Our latest group of puppy class graduates 🥰 it was such a great group of friends interacting and learning together. A couple worked through some reactivity and resource guarding throughout the course and showed so much growth by the end. Despite the big test on day 4 they all had fun with play and games day, which is how they treated every other day 😂 Congratulations are well earned by Archie, Malidji, Poppy, Leo, Skegg, Mila and Arnie.

After 6 weeks of hard (most of the time 😂) work we got to see our obedience class graduate just before Easter. I was impressed with all of our pups they did so well in their tests and many showed vast improvements from day one, especially with their focus and listening. I’d like to think we had quite a few proud puppy parents on the day ❤️ We also set up a little fun agility course for them to play in and learn some new skills plus of course their choice of a graduation toy 🥰

Week 3 of obedience training ❤️ they are coming along nicely, it’s great to see all of their improvement. Our main behaviours that we are working on across the board are focus and lead walking. I am sure they would like one big play date, it’s good practice redirecting attention back to training. I’m very impressed with a lot of their recall, a few are showing solid recall from distractions 🐶🐶 this week we worked on duration sits and downs, stays, heel lead walking and long lead recall with distractions

Puppies, puppies and more puppies!! 😍
With only a small class of three puppies we took the chance to take photos throughout the 4 week course 🥰 Coco the Cavoodle was attending a second time for a more chilled social experience. Evie the Chihuahua and Luna the Chow Chow will attend our next class to meet more puppy friends. They all had a ball playing with each other and learning new behaviours 🥰 we even got to test out some new graduation games 🙌

I had the immense pleasure of seeing Snuffy last week for a behaviour consult… and some extra cuddles 🥰 Snuffy attended our puppy class and is doing very well with his general training and obedience. I love watching him interact with the young girls and their involvement throughout Snuffys training. Unfortunately he has developed a little taste for socks however he showed great progress during his desensitisation and redirection training.

Our beautiful obedience class graduates ❤️ they did such a wonderful job and so much improvement from day 1. With such a social group it was great to be able to add in extra play games and a play date between the two classes for some more fun 🤩 some of them were excited to pick a toy out for graduation but most just wanted to have a last play with their new friends 🥰 Thankyou everyone for attending and having fun

This handsome boy is Tex ❤️ unfortunately he has developed some dog reactivity since losing his best friend. This can happen with dogs that often follow another dogs social cues. Tex is otherwise a very well behaved boy and was fantastic on his lead walking and following cues from his dad even when distracted or seeing another dog. Our training plan will build confidence in Tex and help him learn how to interact with dogs by himself. 🐶🐶

Look at all these amazing pups 🥰🥰 we had such a large group for our obedience class we are running two sessions with a play date in the middle ❤️ I am pretty sure they all prefer the play between learning 😂🐶🐶 during this class we worked on their general obedience with place training, road crossings, touch, recall from dogs and long lead recall, lead walking past dogs and duration/impulse control for sits and downs with treat and ball distractions. Everyone is doing such an amazing job and there is such a beautiful bond between them all and their pets. It’s been a joy watching them train.

Little Luna is a tiny Pomeranian with a big personality! I had a consult with Luna a month ago with a follow up two weeks later. It was amazing to see the difference in her resource guarding after such a short period of time. The follow up allowed us to adjust a few steps in her training and to work on placing her leash/harness on and the ever dreaded bath time which she is now loving 🙌 keep up the fantastic work Luna 🥰🥰
