Looking back on an amazing event with at The Nook - Claremont Hotel.

We gathered with forty like-minded business leaders and as is the standard with each of PBN’s events, we were treated to a night of great food, laughter, and connection.

Thanks to Mark, Ian, and Tango IT for supporting this one and making it possible, alongside the hardworking team from PBN.

A few highlights from all three teams last week 🙌

The club had the rare opportunity to play at stadium and all three teams gave maximum effort.

Unfortunately all three teams went down in the end, although there were some strong performances and positive signs going into the second half of the season.

As we reflect on the theme of this year's National Reconciliation Week, 'Be a Voice for Generations to Come,' we're reminded of the power of breaking waves and the importance of bringing new ways of thinking to address modern challenges.

It’s National Reconciliation Week, and this year's theme is 'Be a Voice for Generations.'

This theme urges all Australians to take tangible steps towards reconciliation in our daily lives. We'll be proudly advocating this message throughout this week and beyond, particularly through our work with Tarni Resources.

In late 2022, we launched Tarni Resources with a vision to provide meaningful opportunities to remote communities. Co-founded by proud Indigenous man, Zach Green, and TurnKey's founder and principal director, James Turner, Tarni Resources is an impact-focused organisation with its wheels literally and figuratively on the ground in remote WA.

We've been blown away by the response from communities, organisations, and our network since launching. Whilst it's still very early days, it's been incredibly rewarding to provide services which bring Indigenous people to opportunities of employment where they were previously inaccessible.

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can meaningfully contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Despite the recent decrease in unemployment, Western Australia is experiencing decade-high rates of staff turnover and mobility, largely due to the highly competitive labour market and a post-COVID landscape.

Employers in this current market, where job vacancies outnumber available candidates, must adopt a balanced and proactive approach to human resourcing.

This involves maintaining a steady flow of new employees during periods of growth, while also minimising the number of employees leaving their business.
