Our vision is to be the centre of innovation at UWA by providing an environment that enables and empowers students to develop ideas into reality.
At Venture we want to create an environment where the development of ideas is encouraged, a community which accelerates development, building valuable partnerships and sharing of collective wisdom. Our aim is to be a central point of connection of Clubs, Societies and all UWA Students, offering valuable hands-on experiences, ideation, and innovative thinking within the UWA and WA ecosystem. Ultimately, Venture will support student innovation through, grants, idea development opportunities, access to industry experts and to incubator facilities.

🚨 We’re Recruiting: Chair of Venture UWA 2027 🚨
Think you’ve got what it takes to lead? We’re looking for our next Chair of Venture UWA, the key role driving student initiatives, guiding the committee, and representing the student voice at the highest level.
🔑 Who we’re looking for:
✅ Previous leadership position in a student club, society, or department
✅ Experience in Venture UWA programs or Venture UWA Student Committee
✅ Ready to step up, take responsibility, and lead with purpose
This IS NOT a starter or paid role, we’re after someone with proven leadership experience who’s ready to make a real impact.

Dan Jovevski built WeMoney to tackle Australia's $2.3 trillion debt problem, and it wasn't even his first company.
Oliver Bazzani now directs Perth Biodesign, turning clinicians, engineers and students into healthtech founders.
Nathan Wipane is a current UWA student who co-founded Shiine Media, Australia's first rideshare advertising platform, reportedly $1.2M raised.
