The Breach Binder is an adult epic fantasy novel perfect for readers who enjoy the intricate criminal underworld of Scott Lynch's The Lies of Locke Lamora and the systemic magic of Robert Jackson Bennett's Foundryside. 🪙

Bas began, like so many fledgling writers, at the head of a D&D table. For the better part of a decade, he forced his fantastical machinations on (mostly) eager parties of adventurers before finally trading in the dice and silly voices for a blank google doc. From ecologist to personal trainer, Bas meandered his way from one job to another before landing in a wildlife sanctuary in North Queensland, where he works with an assortment of venomous reptiles. Whether photographing Australian wildlife, or presenting croc-safety talks, Bas is always on the prowl for inspiration for his next literary adventure. 🐍
