Did you know we have cool metal coffee tins? It’s unlikely, as we neglected to mention it anywhere till now.
Upgrade your coffee bag to a 250g tin for en extra 9 bucks, or buy an empty one for $12 if you really don’t like our coffee.
You can also put together a twin tin pack and save a measly 10%. Every little bit helps I guess.
Once you’ve finished the coffee, proceed to use the tin forever. Potentially refilling it with coffee from a bigger coffee bag (ideally from Brightside).
Non-coffee things you can use the tin for:
Marble collections
Rocks your kids collects
Pencils/pens/general stationary items
Assorted screws and bolts
A throwable weapon (in a pinch)
Note: we have not officially tested the above items excluding coffee and the throwable weapon.

Gabriel Nunes on the left from , and David on the right from . Brightside guy in the middle. These guys are responsible for producing some of the tastiest coffees we’ve had. Our upcoming releases will be the 4th year running, and it’s always our most popular release. It’s one thing to enjoy the hard work of Brazil coffee producers in the cup, but it’s awesome to meet them. Thanks to for hosting them here!

The heart of the business and generally train-looking situation: the Giesen coffee roaster.
Worth its weight in anaerobic, thermal-shock, double-dipped, thrice-flicked, top bunk, high-grown coffee.

Both the roasters ( ) and roasters () getting absolutely flogged this week. Classic Brightside fashion, bitten off more than we can chew??? Nah she’ll be right! Cheers to for the swag btw

Bit of a read this one sorry… but
New coffee! Simbi Natural from Rwanda. It tastes of orange liquor…. Liqueur? Liqueueurer? And caramel. Creamy as espresso, zesty as filter, straw like and chewy as a green bean. But you’re meant to roast green beans not eat them. That should go with our saying but we now have a disclaimer on our green bean product pages for a reason, I’ll leave it at that.
Anyway, sorry to bang on about this, but we are proudly calling this an ethically sourced coffee. What does that mean? Sourced through importers and producers ( .coffee) that are careful and intentional about making sure what we pay is is adequate enough to meet the business sustainability of each stake holder, and invest in local communities through education, infrastructure or social programs. So basically it’s not just about quality of coffee or nice pictures, in reality it’s about price. Are we at brightside making a significant and tangible difference to the wider Rwandan coffee industry? No. But we aren’t making it any worse so that’s a win.
We love this coffee, in case you didn’t realise. It represents a small solution to the challenges at origin for Rwanda ranging from climate impacts to a shortage of younger coffee workers.
It’s here for a good time, but not a long time. That’s just how she goes sometimes team.
We welcome any questions about this coffee or others. All questions. Mostly.
Love you ❤️
Matt
