The menu, which will change with the seasons, is inspired by the abundance of amazing local produce, featuring the likes of Bahen & Co. Chocolate Cambray Cheese Honey For Life Chestnut Brae Sweet Chestnut Farm and Bannister Downs Dairy Farm As for favourites, it is hard to choose as they were all magnificent but the rye tartlet, chestnut, mushroom duxelle, ricotta, candied pine nuts was particularly delicious and the jarrah honey cheesecake tartlet, spiced apple compote was simply divine! The buttermilk scones were easily the best I have had for many years!
Every mouthful was a journey of the most refined and delicious flavours and textures served on the most delicate Mud Australia porcelain and handmade, local timber stands.
Accompanied by the most gorgeous selection of teas from Teassential, a locally owned and operated small tea company which matched the food perfectly and featured indigenous ingredients like strawberry gum, tea tree, lemon myrtle and eucalyptus, the whole experience was simply perfect.
It would be remiss of me not to mention the amazing attention to detail and exceptional service. Not at all fussy or over the top but just enough to feel special! Our Scottish server was very attentive and professional, making sure we were happy and comfortable without making us feel hurried or a burden.
We simply can't wait to come back... although we each have a lime and mint delice with citrus curd, mint sponge and eucalyptus to eat later (we couldn't fit in another bite so took this one home!)

I have been amazed at the results.
After about one month I am no longer taking a daily Nexium and only take a 20mg dose as required, which has been infrequent and only when due to dietary excesses.

The Jarrah Honey is crystal clear in clarity as seen in the picture, the aroma was a complex of earthy bush honey one would expect from our beautiful state.
The 1st taste is a perfect slight sweet flavour followed a smooth mellow woody tone with a hint of that traditional chocolatey jarrah flavour. Smooth melting bliss.

Our Story
Since late 2016 our humble honey company has been hard at work establishing Manuka honey plantations on regenerated farmland across Western Australia’s South West region. We’re continually increasing our area under plantation year-by-year, aiming to become one of Australia’s leading suppliers of Manuka honey in the near future.
In 2019 Honey For Life purchased one of Western Australia’s leading commercial beekeeping operations Davies Apiaries which was established some 40 years ago. With a state-of-the-art extraction facility and 900 beehives, we’ve been hard at work expanding this operation ever since.
We also produce some of Australia’s most sought-after honey, which includes Active Jarrah, Karri and Red Gum. These varietals are all unique to Western Australia’s South West region, and we feel so lucky to be able to share them with you.
