Think about whether you need something before buying it, and try to get it secondhand where possible and appropriate 😎♻️🌏

The facts behind why Secondhand September is so vital are staggering. Created by @Oxfamshops back in 2019, this month long challenge is all about swapping new purchases for preloved finds. Info on Oxfam’s website highlights just how urgent the shift is: 💚1.6bn unused garments sitting in UK wardrobes. 💚 99% of a clothing item's life spent unused on a hanger. 💚 A throwaway culture with massive global impact. Break the cycle of fast fashion this September by supporting your local charity shops. Every single swap makes a difference! ♻️

Join me at the new Repair Cafe in Inglewood for a fun Unfair Game and waste-sorting activity! ♻️🌏✅️
