First Aid with Nick

Great to catch up again with the team from as they renewed their Surf Rescue awards today. I’ve been privileged to work with this team for three years running, and they’re a great team of teachers.

I’ve been involved with Surf Life Saving in WA as a trainer/assessor for over 10 years now and this is my favourite time of year as a trainer. Facilitating courses for schools and their teachers is rewarding. Bonus points for getting to train at the beach!!

It’s always good to take time out to recharge and reset for the week ahead.

This is why we emphasise not putting your thumb over the end of the epipen at any time for safety.

Travelled up to Alkimos today to train some of their amazing team on behalf of Surf Lifesaving WA.

Travelled out Williams today to train the team from Willi Wagtails day care centres. Great team and a great day!!

Today I’m helping the team from REED in Narrogin and surrounding districts to complete their HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting.

We can and do travel far and wide to help train vital 1st Aid skills as required.

Super excited to be able share my skills and experience training the team at Nido in Palmyra last weekend. A great bunch of people who have the added burden of looking after my youngest. They’re an amazing team and it’s always a pleasure to give something back for the Nido staff here in WA. Nido Early School Palmyra
