I’d be lying if I didn’t admit this baby was one of my favourites 😅
Not even trying to blend in… just out there being so dramatic… I can’t get enough of her soft pink shades 🩷
And before you ask… yes, it’s for sale! Send me a PM for more info 😎

Hello prickly lovers!
In case we’ve never crossed paths before (and if we have, consider this a quick refresher!), I’d love to introduce myself… I’m Gabrielle, graphic designer by day, artist by night, lover of colours, always.
I’m a mum of two - three if you count the puppy - a tribe if you count the plants (I won’t say which one is my favourite, but given the first two are teenagers, you'll figure it out soon enough 😅).
First of all, welcome to my new creative space, and thank you so much for being here. I’m genuinely grateful for all the clicks, comments, and all the love to come!
A friend of mine recently asked me what all the fuss about succulents was...
Yes, they’re cute, squishy, and generally adorable. But in my case, and for a very long time – they were the one thing in the garden I didn't kill straight away 😅
I mean, I did kill some - just not within 5 working days. And it was always very much unintentional.
Somehow, through a mix of stubbornness and perseverance, some babies started to thrive. And I worked out that, just like with teens, tough love usually works best! The rest is just luck and hoping for the best.
Cacti haven't just been popular in my garden; they've also made frequent appearances in my art studio over the years. From inks, to acrylics and watercolours, they've been sprouting in all the gloriousness, in all shapes, forms, and dramatic colours.
Turns out the artist's path came far more naturally to me than the gardener's one 😅
But today, I couldn't do one without the other. The garden is where I start the day, and the first place I go when I get home from work. It's where I reset and recharge, before heading into the studio to create.
Thank you for following me on this prickly journey, one I can only describe as a midlife crisis hobby that has taken over my life so completely that I simply have to share the love with you all.
On this page, you’ll find my art, jewellery, and potted creations, all inspired by cacti and succulents. Expect plenty of colours, and the occasional puppy spam 😁
Lots of love and prickles,
Gabrielle
I’m here trying to take some cool pics… while Puppy Sunday is casually taking over the art direction 🙄😆
