Art of Animalius 🎨
You can hardly find a blank wall in our hospital which isn't decorated by a beautiful piece of art holding great sentimental value to our Directors. "Extended Family" by Chris Golberg was gifted to Dr Fleur and Animalius. It holds a very special spot in our hearts and brightens our cat lounge. We are so honoured to have this beautiful painting a part of Animalius.

Animalius Vet is growing! As our caseload and specialist capacity continues to expand, we are looking for a motivated full-time Veterinarian to join our collaborative hospital team.

Lovely Cricket was referred to Medicine at Animalius due to growth of a large mass in front of his right shoulder which was understandably concerning to his family. After a CT with our imaging team, resident Dr Dazlyn Badsha took a needle aspirate and thankfully revealed that the mass was a large cyst in the location of the lymph node.

Cricket was passed on to specialist surgeon, Dr Caitlin Tzounos, to have the cyst removed. Surgery involved very precise and gentle dissection techniques to ensure we removed the mass without it rupturing, all made easier by the important anatomical information gained from the CT scan.

This gorgeous boy was very happy after surgery and getting lots of cuddles from the team in recovery. He is continuing to do well with a good prognosis 😊
