Big well done last to Danryl in his masters bout against a great opponent… awesome boxing from the start saw him take the first two rounds on the judges score cards, but his opponent never gave in the whole fight and put two 8 counts on Danryl and then got the stoppage with only 2 seconds left in the fight.. Such a close one but that’s boxing, great work Dan & well done to your opponent… that’s 1 win each now so a third trilogy has to be on the cards!

Lokman was first up for us in the final of the junior open state title for his division. The war machine as he likes to be known as won a unanimous points victory boxing great all 3 rounds, showing alot of maturity along the way.. Congratulations on the win 🥇 mate and well deserved.. Next stop for him are the National titles in QLD in 5 weeks time🥊

Up next was big brother Hasan boxing against another great opponent he’s met many times before & will many more!
Unfortunately this time it wasn’t Hassan's night going down by decision is a highly contested bout… Well done mate, first one of the year out the way and now can focus on more bouts leading up to the Nationals in 5 weeks time… well done again mate!

THE LIGHTS GO OUT AT THE CROATIAN CLUB

Great work by the boys yesterday.. We ended up with 1 win from 2 and 1 fight unfortunately cancelled due to a power outage that couldn’t be restored halfway through the event

Bryce was first up for us against a great opponent in a very exciting bout from start to finish.. Bryce got the win by a split decision in a bout I’m sure that will be run back many times.. Well done on getting the win Brycey 🥊

Up next for us was Yusuf against a more experienced good opponent.. Yusuf got caught early with a good shot, but didn’t let it stop him and boxed really well through all the rounds, going down in a decision loss… Well done Yusuf chin up and on to the next one mate!

Then the storm hit and the power went out so unfortunately Danryl was not able to box.. This unfortunately has happened to him twice in a row where he’s had a cancellation on the night… chin up mate enjoy a few days off and I’m sure can get the bout rescheduled!

Thanks as always to Coach Carter & Rinto it is much appreciated as always & the team will be ready to go again in two weeks time..
