On Friday night, Gerry Hanssen’s 80th birthday was marked by a surprise birthday party at Finbar Head Office.

Gerry was gifted with a book ‘The Job Is The Boss’ to honour his legacy.

It took months of secrecy getting the stories and visuals from friends, family and lifelong business colleagues to compile his life into the book.

Gerry was overwhelmed by the generosity of spirit from those who attended.

He enjoying the unexpected book signing as part of his surprise birthday party.
