As the Kin & Co Summer Market season comes to a close, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible events we've had the privilege of supporting over the past few months. From the Subi Night Markets to the Scarborough Sunset Markets and the Perth City Twilight Markets, our medics have been proud to provide medical support while people came together to shop local, enjoy great food, and soak up the unique atmosphere at each event.

Throughout the season, our team has been on hand to provide first aid, support, and reassurance whenever it was needed, helping ensure every market remained a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors, stallholders, performers, and volunteers.

A heartfelt thank you to Kin & Co for another fantastic season and for the opportunity to support these wonderful community events. We'd also like to thank all the vendors, entertainers, and everyone who stopped by to say hello, it's always a pleasure to be part of such welcoming and vibrant markets.

Most importantly, thank you to our incredible medics. Your professionalism, compassion, and commitment to serving the community are what make market shifts like these possible. Whether it was a windy afternoon by the beach or a busy evening in the city, your dedication never wavered, and we couldn't be prouder of everything you do.

Learning never stops at Perth Medics

Our last Continuing Professional Development (CPD) night focused on the assessment and management of spinal and head injuries - an area where clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and effective teamwork can make all the difference.

Throughout the evening, our medics explored current best practice, refined their assessment skills, and worked through realistic scenarios to strengthen their confidence in recognising and managing these complex presentations. CPD Nights like these provide an invaluable opportunity to build on existing knowledge, share experiences, and ensure we continue to deliver safe, evidence-based care in the field.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion, and to those who helped facilitate another fantastic night of learning. We are incredibly proud of the dedication our medics show towards continually developing their skills and providing the highest standard of care to the communities we serve.

Our medics were proud to provide medical support at the recent exciting UFC event, helping ensure the safety and wellbeing of athletes, officials, staff, and spectators throughout the night.

From the first bout to the final bell, our team remained ready to respond, delivering professional care and support whenever required. Combat sports demand exceptional preparation both inside and outside the cage, and we are proud to play a role in creating a safe environment for competitors to perform at their best.

Our medics were proud to provide medical and welfare support at this year’s FairBridge Festival, helping keep festivalgoers safe while they enjoyed a weekend filled with music, community, creativity, and connection.

Across the weekend, our team responded to first aid presentations, provided welfare support, and worked closely with event staff and volunteers to help ensure the festival remained a safe and welcoming environment for everyone attending. From busy daytime crowds to late night performances, our medics were there every step of the way with professionalism, compassion, and plenty of positive energy.

Behind every patient interaction is a medic who chose to be there, not because they had to, but because they care. That commitment is what strengthens our team and makes a real difference to the people and communities we support.
