✨ Human Dignity & Hard Conversations ✨

In speaking on the Lambeth Call on Human Dignity, Archbishop Kay Goldsworthy offers insights into the importance of approaching difficult conversations with humility, compassion, and a willingness to listen. She reminds us that every person’s dignity is sacred, and through open dialogue - even when it’s tough - we can create spaces where understanding and healing can flourish.

In times of division, may we find the courage to listen deeply, honour each other's humanity, and build bridges rooted in love and respect. 🌍💬🙏

Wishing you happy and holy Christmas!

As we gather to celebrate, let us give thanks for the gift of God given to us - Christ the Lord, our Saviour.

🙏All glory to you, gracious God, for the gift of your Sone, whom you sent to save us.
With the angels, let us praise your name, and tell the earth his story,
that all may believe, rejoice and proclaim your love;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

A prayer for hope 🙏

Archbishop Kay Goldsworthy shared a prayer with the community last year.

‘Lord Jesus Christ,
when stormy waves of fear
and rising tides of danger distress us,
you shelter us in your strong heart,
and you hold us steady with your wounded hands.
From the unshakeable certainty of your love,
send out a flood of peace and rivers of justice.
Open up a fountain of health
to cleanse, refresh and renew us.
Gather the whole wide world
into the safety of your embrace. Amen.’
