AIME - Australian Institute Maintenance Engineering
AIME Australian Institute of Maintenance Engineering RTO 52920
An incredible start to AIME’s Accelerate Pathway program.
Yesterday we were honoured to begin the program with a traditional Smoking Ceremony, led by Rueben from KNB Culture & Arts, welcoming our new participants and marking the beginning of their training journey.
The Accelerate Pathway program supports local First Nations young people to gain a nationally recognised qualification in Automotive Vocational Preparation, combined with meaningful work experience and genuine employment opportunities on completion.
A sincere thank you to Workforce Australia – Local Jobs for supporting this initiative, along with the employment service providers and employers across Perth South who continue to work collaboratively to create real pathways into sustainable employment.
We’re excited to see what this group will achieve over the coming months.
WA APPRENTICESHIPS JUST GOT AN UPGRADE
AIME is now delivering the
MEM40119 Certificate IV in Engineering Maintenance (Apprenticeship)
While it runs over the same timeframe as the Cert III, this qualification develops a very different tradesperson.
This apprenticeship builds advanced maintenance specialists capable of:
Complex fault-finding
Technical diagnostics
Precision fitting
Maintaining critical plant & equipment
Leading maintenance improvements on-site
This is for employers who want more than a standard trade outcome.
It’s for teams who want higher capability, higher reliability, and future leading hands in the making.
If you want apprentices trained to a higher technical standard, with more support and flexibility, partner with AIME for 2026 intakes.

What an incredible morning at AIME!
Huge thanks to the Australian Defence Force for visiting our students today to talk about career opportunities and what life in the Defence Force looks like.
The session was full of energy, team-building activities, honest conversations, and plenty of inspiration.
The ADF team left impressed by how focused, respectful, and switched-on our students were.
These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do🤝
