Small retaining idea… This is 580mm Corten edging to retain the high lawn level.. By adding cascading plants like the Casuarina Cousin It will soften the hard surface of the retaining material.. Dichondra Silverfalls is another cascading plant that will work too.. Limestone blocks and brick render are other material options to use as retaining..

Grass cell pavers …. Great way to soften hard scape areas.. These can be used on driveways, walkways and as garden features.. There are several different ways to fill them also, such as lawn seen in this pic, decorative stones or a small ground cover..

My Velveteen lawn back to 100% after the spring Reno.. cutting at about 10mm the stripes are showing off.. I am using golf course green fertilise with a drenching of Seasol…

Just another example of garden edging.. Corten is the perfect product for garden edging.. Slimline, easy to install and durable. Can’t go wrong 👍🏼

Another way to hide the fence… Using decorative screens can be a great way. I have softened the fence by using single vertical trellis with trained Ivy to grow… Planting lush green plants to contrast the black screen also makes a huge difference.. This can be a cost effective way to transform your area 👌🏼

Check out this open pergola… Made from Primed Pine with large posts to make it look grand.. Painted in a simple white to suit any area.. Here we have some very lush Xanadus loving their space… The cladding is a great way to hide in this case a concrete post and panel retaining wall.. Finished on top with a 138x42mm design pine capping..

Love this trio of pots.. These are from Utah style in Weather Cement colour… Planted is are mature Xanadu’s from to really soften the area.. Great contrasting colours.. Remember to add stones and Geofabric for adequate drainage in the bottom of your pots 👌🏼

Ficus Pumila … Better know as Creeping Fig.. This plant will stick to just about anything which make it perfect to add a bit of greenery to an old wall, screen or fence.. An old school plant that has become very modern featuring in a lot of new style gardens.. Full sun plant ☀️that will just keep growing 🌱🌱
