PT Kart Alignment

Pt Kart Alignment has just finished putting this kart together for Josh Hunt. The kart is a Hustler from the Barry Page stable, locally built here in Western Australia. At Pt Kart Alignment we made sure the wheel alignment and chassis are at there correct settings and we also modified and supplied a Kt100s with a Rapp exhaust system. PT Kart Alignment would like too wish Thomas Unwin and all the other WA karter's all the best at the Australian Titles at the Morgan race track SA. With over 360 entered it will be busy.

Well done Thomas Unwin 13th to 8th in the final race which gave him 9th overall. Got to be happy with that racing some of the best in Australia and on a unknown track.

Just finished the chassis alignments on Cameron O'Malley karts also straighten the steering shaft for Brett Unwin.

Just finished rebuilding and doing a chassis alignment on Jayden Carvalho's Gambler.

Jason Everington had his chassis straighten after his crash from Jurien Bay night meet . The kart had a decent twist and the stub axle bearings were worn out , all sorted now .

Just finished laser aligning Troy and Joel Oorschot's karts . The boys had the frames powder coated and will look good when they are finished being put back together. I also laser aligned a brand new KRT { BRT } kart. The frame had an 8mm twist in it which means the frame was not checked when it came of the jig . I think it's good that we are spoilt for choice when buying new karts, but when a company that sells the karts does not do a quality control check before they go out, its a bit of a worry eg: welding, chassis has a major twist, incorrect spacers in the c section of the stub axles. So you are paying good money for a kart that should be ready to race. So if you have a new kart and not happy with way it handles give myself or Troy a call and see if we can sort the problem out.

Two karts finished today, full chassis alignment and steering set up for Cameron O'Malley and Blake Simm.Blake is driving the PT shop kart and is in his first season of karting, Blake has a great attitude towards racing and his competitor's and it shows in his driving style,

Jemma Reynolds your axle is now straight

Another Kart laser aligned for Jamie Uren and a rear seat stay made. The kart had a slight twist , all good now.

The customer says it goes really good turning left but not so good turning right. I would think that having a 12mm twist might be the problem.
