Parafield Flying Centre

Who says there's no GA flight training on the Yorke Peninsula? Joel Varcin passed his PPL flight test at our Port Pirie Operation yesterday 👏🏼 Sensational work Joel!

Newly-fledged Private Pilot, Yunfan Feng! He's so worn out, WNQ has to hold him up 😄 Our congratulations 👏🏼 and best wishes to you.

Picturesque views from the office window at our Eyre Peninsula operations at this time of year, with the Canola in full flower!

After departing Maitland at 0847, it was Siân's turn to refuel at Hay, under grey skies and rain. Back at Parafield at 1701, after a long day! A good day though. And the compulsory selfie, of course.

Our Troy withstands 40 knot wind in Maitland NSW to refuel the new kite! Unfortunately no ferry flight back to Parafield today due to severe weather, but we'll give it a red hot shot tomorrow.

This is the proper Lone Tree, Llyn Padarn, Llanberis. Allegedly one of the most photographed trees in the world. We don't teach track via Lone Tree when outbound to the Parafield training, because our intrepid HoO would simply use it as an excuse to fly the C172 direct to North Wales (which is where she is right now, pic taken today).

Watch this space! Coming soon to a flying school near you...

When the low cloud and showers and rubbish visibility finally dissipated yesterday afternoon...First solo for Lakshay Moond! His family members were watching and cheering him on from the ground near the Tower.
Congratulations to you Lackshay 👏👏
