I’ve worked with Glen at Tenacious House and I’ve watched him show up week after week to the community bootcamp sessions, using that space as a starting point to rebuild his confidence and discipline. I’ve seen the effort he puts in, the way he listens, learns, and pushes himself and how much pride he takes in the progress he’s made. That consistency has carried him a long way and now he wants to turn that growth into something that helps others. He’s taking on this challenge and donating the money back into the fitness program because he knows firsthand how much it can change a man’s direction.
If you’re able to help, even a small donation back into the Tenacious House fitness program would go a long way and support the next men coming through.

Mountain Climbers
Mountain climbers are one of the best bodyweight exercises for building cardio fitness and core strength.
They work:
• Core
• Shoulders
• Hip flexors
• Cardiovascular endurance
Coaching cues
✔ Hands directly under shoulders
✔ Keep your hips low
✔ Maintain a strong plank position
✔ Drive the knees quickly
A great way to practise is:
3 rounds
30 seconds mountain climbers
30 seconds rest
Small improvements in technique make a big difference.

🔥 COMMUNITY BOOTCAMP – WORKOUT
This week’s Community Bootcamp workout is a simple 15-minute EMOM session designed to build cardio fitness and core strength.
EMOM means Every Minute On the Minute. Start the exercise at the beginning of the minute, then rest for the remaining time before the next movement begins.
This workout includes:
• Star Jumps
• Mountain Climbers
• Lunge Twists
• Russian Twists
• Short shuttle runs
Complete the sequence for 3 rounds (15 minutes total).
This style of training is great because it keeps the workout simple while still pushing your heart rate and building endurance.
💡 Beginner Tip:
Move at your own pace and take extra rest if needed. The goal is consistency, not perfection.

🚨 FREE FAMILY OBSTACLE COURSE COMING TO ROCKINGHAM 🚨
Families are set to get moving this summer with ActiveX, a FREE, one-day obstacle course event delivered by AUSactive, thanks to funding secured from the Western Australian Government.
Taking place on 15 January 2026, ActiveX will transform Rockingham’s open bushland into a fun, inclusive obstacle course experience designed for all ages and abilities, with up to 2,000 locals expected to take part.
Open to participants aged 4 to 74, and running during the school holidays, this event makes it easy for families, friends and the wider community to get involved. Expect exciting obstacles including ninja rigs, net climbs and walls, all designed to challenge you while keeping the focus on fun, connection and getting active outdoors.
ActiveX is about removing barriers to participation and giving the Rockingham community a free, welcoming way to be active together, no matter your fitness level. Alongside the course, local health and fitness providers and community organisations will be on site to showcase activity opportunities available in the region.

Our 3rd and Final open session in preparation for True Grit - Military Inspired Obstacle Challenge has concluded at our Rockingham location.
A big thanks to all of our facilitators who helped make these sessions such a success.
