Baby season is in full swing this week, luckily I have the most beautiful little helpers.

I love teaching them about birth, postpartum and motherhood, and they love learning how to care for all the goddess mamas 💖

We've been so beautifully absorbed with births, mamas, placentas and breastfeeding this year, ohh and two lovely, but rambunctious toddlers 💕🤦‍♀️

And a floofy gold puppy 🐕 who has destroyed our entire backyard... but that's a story for another time 😆

Happy world Breastfeeding week!

A week to celebrate all of those magical moments you shared, whether you breastfed for one feed, one day, one month or one year.

To those who faced challenges, ni**le pain, oral ties, thrush, breast refusal or mastitis. To those who fed anytime, anywhere, those who exclusively pumped, or mixed fed, those who practiced extended breastfeeding or tandem fed and those whose breastfeeding journey was cut short. . .

This week is for you to celebrate those special moments with your baby(s), because every little drop of liquid gold milk is helping to nourish your baby and build their immune system.

So celebrate your journey, take all the photos, do a breastfeeding photoshoot, breastfeed to sleep, breastfeed any time, anywhere, breastfeed for health, breastfeed during illness, cherish your incredible body and all that she can do.

This beautiful photo comes from a shoot I did recently with gorgeous Anni and I just love how it captures the moment so perfectly. I can't wait to hang it on my wall, so I can forever cherish the breastfeeding journey I had with both my girls.

Packing and sending out Placenta eskies each week, is one of my favourite 'jobs'. Sometimes I don't know who is more excited, me or the mamas? 😆

Did you know that Oxytocin is just as important for your breastfeeding experience as it is for your birth?
