Dream big.
The world is quick to dismiss budding artists. They say your head is in the clouds. They ask what your plan B is. They say think smaller.
As artists, it's crucial that we can dream without limitations. That our work is not dismissed.
We encourage any and every idea so long you are fiercely passionate about it. We want your big idea to be REALITY.
Like and follow us to find out we can help.

Here are the four phases of the Next Step: Industry Workshop:
PHASE 1 (Virtual):
We are offering the format of an industry pitch deck. This is universally valuable and a necessity of the industry.
You are to input and build a pitch deck for your project.
Phase 2 (Virtual):
Our mentors will stay in touch and you will receive personalised feedback for you to use in updating. your pitch decks. Your mentors will gain an familiarity with your project and its themes.
You will be sent a guide to planning a verbal pitch which you can adapt form your deck. Practise time!
Phase 3 (In Person):
Meet your mentors face to face and ask tham any and all questions you can think of. They and their experience are at your are at your disposable for the whole day.
Each mentor will advise in their specific field and assist in building a roadmap (including how to cross the finish line) for your project.
Phase 4 (In Person) :
At the end of the day, we have invited Clare Sladden, an award winning filmmaker, to give a fresh perspective on your projects once you've polished off your idea.
You will present your pitch and freshly pinter pitch deck, she will in turn provide feedback and valuable advice.
On the same day we would love you to join and be a sort of 'guest judge' for the team's pitch presentations. Offer verbal advice and thoughts that would be helpful to them.
Now you know what to do and how to finish your project, no more gathering dust in the back of your desk (omg). You've gained industry knowledge (and formatting) and now have connections to popular producers! Congrats!

Thats a wrap! π¬ Or is it?
Where does your film belong once you've pressed the export button?
What about after the festival circuit?
In a cinema? On a streaming platform? On TV?
A website? youtube?
There are more options than you know. Your choice matters because your film/TV show matter.
One of the hardest jobs in the industry. post-pandemic, is to sell movies theatrically. Thats exactly what one of our mentors does every day and they can teach you.
The secret success to selling your movie has less to do with what camera you use and more to do with understanding the people you want to buy a movie ticket.
You've poured your blood, sweat and tears into this on set and during production. Now's the easy part right?
Well....it can be easier IF you have a deep understanding of your audience demographic.
It helps if you have market and industry experience.
Don't worry, we can help with that π
The big F word π
There is an abundance of mystery surrounding how filmmakers can actually finance their work. How does one bridge the gap between 'exposure' rates and industry rates (for you and your crew).
It takes time, it takes practice and you know what wouldn't hurt? A ticket to our workshop.
Our mentors evaluate each project and will give detailed, personalised advice about your next step.
