The way we leave a site matters as much as the work we do on it.

Here's what we hand back to every builder we work with — and what you should expect from any earthworks crew.

We've worked with a lot of builders over the years. The ones we work with best are the ones who value the same things we do.

Swipe through what that actually looks like on site.

A concrete slab looks simple once it's done.
What you don't see is everything that happens before the truck arrives.

Ground prep.
Compaction.
Formwork.
Steel.
Then the pour.

Each step has to be right before the next one starts.
That's the job.

How far ahead should you lock in your earthworks crew?
Earlier than most builders think.

Here is why. 👇

⏱️ The groundwork sets the pace for everything else on site. Concreters, framers, plumbers — they are all waiting on us. When earthworks slip, the whole programme moves with it. That is expensive for everyone.

📅 Good crews book out weeks or months in advance. If someone is available tomorrow with no notice, it is worth asking why. Reliable operators are planned out. That is the reality of the trade.

📋 All we need to get started:
- A rough scope or site plans.
- Location and access details.
- Your target start date.

🤝 Talking through a job early does not lock you in.
It just means we can flag anything before it becomes a problem on site.

West Croydon, progressing well. ✅
Excavation done, footings and strip footings in for Steel fixers next, then we are back to concrete.

Got a project coming up? Let us know what you are working with.

The earlier we are across the scope, the smoother the earthworks and concreting side runs for everyone. Send us the details and we will come back to you with what we need to get it locked in.

Both work. 👌
The right choice depends on what you are using the area for, what is underneath it, and what you are willing to maintain.

👉 Concrete gives you a single continuous surface. It is strong, low maintenance, and handles heavy loads well. Driveways, garage slabs, and paths are typically concrete for that reason. The base prep is the same either way: excavation, compaction, and proper drainage.

👉 Pavers give you more flexibility with patterns and can be easier to repair in small sections. But they can shift over time if the base is not compacted properly, and weeds will find every gap eventually.

Either way, what is underneath matters more than what is on top. If the base is not right, both will fail.

Start with the right foundation. Talk to us about earthworks.

Crafers slab, done. ✅

Polished raft with underfloor hydronic heating.
One of those jobs where the preparation does all the talking.
