Just picked up my new Gusto GTR Road bike and out for first ride, all bike brands go to great lengths to describe their frame stiffness and comfort via various geometry systems and carbon lay-up schedules. So I was really interested in the patented Gusto ILC technology ( Innegra Latex Composite ) , Gusto’s R & D team have exclusively developed the patented carbon composite technology which significantly increases the frame’s rigidity and the stability of shock absorption. As a result, this reduces pain risk of injuries caused by long-distance riding vibrations.
I have always believed that it takes a few hundred km’s to settle into a new bike and get into the performance groove for youself and the bike. Right out of the gate I could feel the vertical compliance ride quality and still had a sense of responsive acceleration when putting the boot into the Shimano R8170 crank. If I stick with my settling in belief for a new bike I’m looking forward to the development of a great rider / bike relationship.
