🏁 Stable Karting is Trackside This Week! 🏁

The shop will be closed this week while the team heads north to Coffs Harbour to compete in the 2026 Australian Kart Masters, honouring the late Ian Brown.

Ian was a true gentleman of the sport and someone we all have very fond memories of. His passion, encouragement and love for karting left a lasting impact on so many competitors and families across the karting community.

This year, flying the Stable Karting flag are:

🏎️ Gordon Wells – making a return to the kart after a few years away!
🏎️ Paul Hamilton

We wish the boys safe travels, fast laps, and plenty of fun on and off the track.

KARTING AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCES TYRE SUPPLIERS FOR 2027-2031

The Board of Karting Australia has confirmed the appointment of Maxxis and Vega as the tyre suppliers for Karting Australia sanctioned competition from January 1, 2027, through to December 31, 2031.

This outcome follows an extensive tender and evaluation process undertaken over the past 18 months by Karting Australia management and directors.

Group 2 (KA3 Junior, KA3 Senior, TaG 125 Restricted) – Maxxis RED MAO

Back in the day, having an Alfano Pro Plus LV on your kart was an absolute must. Every team kart. Every customer kart. Everyone wanted one.
Then GPS lap timers came along… and things moved on....blah blah blah
So as we upgrade all our systems, this trusty old unit is looking for a new home.

What a way to kick off the RKA Series! The crew from Stable Karting had an amazing weekend down in Geelong for Round 1 🙌

Big smiles, fast laps, and plenty of laughs all round 😄

⭐ Arie’s highlight of the weekend?
Getting the chance to meet Anton de Pasquale from Team 18, who dropped in for the day to jump on the spanners for Stable Karting driver Mitch Croke #54 🔧🏎️

He also got to try the local chicken parmigiana — YUMO! 😋

We couldn’t camp this time, but we grabbed an Airbnb house instead… and honestly, we had so much fun! 🏡🎉 (not sure about the bed though)

“I didn’t get to practice this weekend — there were too many people on the circuit getting ready — but that’s okay. I had fun with the team and really enjoyed going away.” 💙🧡
