HMR can provide more than workshop overhauls and on site services. Earlier in the year we carried out pre-purchase inspections on these water pumps on behalf of one of our valued clients, after which we collected them from the sale yard and refurbished them in our workshop to ensure good running order before delivering them to site.

When approached by one of our valued clients, Capricorn Metals Karlawinda Gold Project , to design and fabricate custom luggage trolleys for their newly constructed onsite airport at the Kalawinda Gold Mine HMR jumped at the challenge. They were designed with turn table front axles for maneuverability, with brakes on the front wheels to the drawbar as a specialized safety feature. They can be road trained together and have vinyl covers making them suitable for all weather conditions as well as for various quantities of cargo. HMR can provide a range of services and solutions outside of standard mechanical and shutdown services.

Ernie Brain is our Workshop & Parts Coordinator, and a long-standing member of the HMR team. He works tirelessly managing the supply of parts for our Australian and international clients, ensuring they are ordered to exact specifications and arrive safely and on time. He also assists with the running of our Workshop daily, providing organizational support as well as technical advice and assistance gathered during his tradesman years as a boilermaker. In his downtime, Ernie loves to travel with his wife in their caravan and run amok with his grand kids on a daily basis. Ernie is a wealth of knowledge and experience, always with a kind word and a cheeky laugh, and is a highly valued member of our team.
Renowned for our custom design and out of the box thinking, HMR strives to provide our clients with innovative solutions to complex challenges. Fabricated in 2021 for Regis Resources for use at Moolart Well Gold Mine, this 21 metre long trailer was designed for transporting full length of poly pipe around site. With a rear tri axle and twin front axle on a turn table this trailer is designed with maneuverability in mind.

One of HMR's sponsorship projects is this Ford Falcon speedway car belonging to one of our employees. In late 2021 HMR provided panel beating and painting as well as mechanical works, and the car has since been raced in the Streets Stocks division at Manjimup Speedway and other race tracks. This is one of the ways we support and give back to our valued employees who give so much to us.

To streamline our Site Services division, HMR recently placed a fully equipped tooling container at one of our longstanding client sites. HMR custom fitted and fabricated the internal frame which was specifically designed to hold maximum shutdown tooling while still maintaining an efficient work space. This is one of many ways HMR strives to meet client needs - for this client we are reducing mobilization and demobilization expenses, as well as reducing the travel time for our personnel. Since the completion of this project we are currently working on four additional tooling containers for other clients.
