In the past 10 days, there have been more than 30 earthquakes in the Wheatbelt alone, with reports of some tremors even being felt as far as Perth โ 200km away! ๐ฒ๐ฅ
This cluster of quakes is what you call an earthquake swarm โ a series of moderate-sized quakes without a main distinct shock that can last for months. As WA is the most seismically active state in the country with more earthquakes than all the states and territories combined, itโs crucial to know what to do if one strikes.
What would you do if you felt an earthquake?
A very big thankyou to Merredin Freight for the use of their forklift and driver it is greatly appreciated special thanks to Kelly Kudas for organising it
