Let's put a cake in the feed!
Who would have thought my first Lambeth style cake would be a dog cake! This cute little heart cake was totally dog safe, and held a special surprise inside. These lucky puppos not only got to tuck into a delicious cake all to themselves, but also got to reveal to their mum and dad what gender mum and dad's baby was! What a beautiful idea to have your dogs involved in your gender reveal 💙🩷

Did somebody say white chocolate and biscoff loaded cookies?!
No? OK, I'll eat them myself because they're bloody amazing 🤤

We have all been hard at work, creating our new studio for classes! Stay tuned for the release soon! I'll be advertising them really soon, and hoping to squeeze in some Christmas classes before the big man comes. Who is keen to learn some cakey and cookie skills?!

White chocolate raspberry mudcake with a lemon curd swirl between the layers. Absolutely delicious!!!

I made this beautiful bouquet cake for my mum's birthday. She loves her flowers, so it was a no-brainer for me to try out some bold colours and techniques I don't normally get asked for.
Having full creative freedom is the best way for me to work. I can create some really gorgeous work when I can just go with my own thoughts and ideas.
Too good to eat? Nahhhhh!!! It was also a trial on the inside, with the top half being white chocolate and raspberry mudcake and lemon curd filling. Then the bottom half was churro! With a spiced white chocolate mudcake and homemade dulche de leche filling 🤤 it was delicious!!!

Maddy requested a raspberry pink Barbie cake for her birthday this year, so I thought it was time I try a Dolly Varden cake. She wasn't perfect and I rushed the skirt ruffles a bit, but I think her face says it all. She LOVED it!

I had the pleasure of making this little man's 2nd birthday cake last year, and again for his 3rd birthday this year! Paired with a perfectly printed Hulk edible image by the clever Faye at Fifi Decor in Melton, and a show stopping topper from my friend Tash
I got to play around with some industrial textures with my buttercream to create a really cool, concrete look. I think it turned out better than I even pictured it! What do you think?

Thank you so much to my customers, current, and those who have orders for the remainder of the year. I have been overwhelmed by the massive influx of orders I've had since August. Words can't describe how thankful I am that you all trust my work.
So, I have made the decision to close off any further orders for the year. All orders who have already booked and paid their deposits will, of course, go ahead, but my diary is packed to the rafters.
I can take orders for 2024, as they've already started coming in. I am hoping to have some cookie packs to offer for end of year teachers and Christmas for preorders, so watch this space!

I went a little out of my comfort zone and made 4 entries into the baking competition at the Royal Melbourne show this year - my first ever competitions. I had no idea what the judges would be looking for or what the criteria was, so I just baked my little heart out!
I went in with low expectations, given that they were my first competitive bakes. I didn't expect to come away with anything (of course I hoped, though!). This morning, I woke up to the news that, although my lemon curd did not place, I received a high commendation for my decorated cake and won first place for my brownies and wagon wheels! I couldn't believe it! I also received a rosette for the overall winner of the biscuits, pastries, and slices category!
I'm so super proud of myself, and it makes me realise that if you bake with love and passion, you can absolutely achieve a wonderfully high standard baking in your own kitchen. My humble little homemade brownies and wagon wheels are now award winning!
Did anyone get any over the weekend? Because you ate exactly what the judges ate! What did you think?!
