NGL when I edit these types of projects, if I’m sitting there listening in real time I lose focus - I find that listening at 2x speed and editing out the pauses / mistakes using the waveform makes it so much easier to lock in 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thought I’d share this incase it helps even just 1 person edit these long form projects a bit quicker 😅
(Ps. This method is only really effective when they’re reading off of a teleprompter)

This was a beauty masterclass project, I’ve filmed a lot of these over the years and have worked in plenty of small spaces to save clients on studio hire fees.

This job was a half day shoot, and included all of the lighting and camera equipment to achieve this 2-camera setup. The overhead camera is connected to my iPad so I can monitor the view. If the client gets in the way, I let them know and if they need to stay in that position, the second camera is the safety angle.

With all masterclasses, I edit everything that was shot within the time frame, this project was 3 videos in total: 1x 3 minute video, 1x 35 minute video, and 1x 70 minute video 🎥

I’ve been eying off a portable smoke machine for a little while now, I love the atmospheric look that haze can bring to frames, I’ve got an exciting mini doc project coming up with that I’m planning on using this one for 👌
