Stride or Ride

A fabulous afternoon at Italico for the launch of Stride or Ride 2026.
It was an honour to be joined by our guest speaker Olympic & Commonwealth Games winning cyclist Katie Mactier who announced she’s coming out of retirement to take part in this year’s event with event founder Max Beck. The room was buzzing with excitement, filled with community support ready to dust off their runners and pump up the bike tyres to join Stride or Ride, raising valuable funds for The Portsea Camp. It was wonderful to have so many of our key supporters with us for the launch including Colleen Callander, Award winning CEO and Author of The Power of Confidence. Colleen joins us again this year, championing our 12km walkers, alongside Taryn Brown of Walk MP leading the 20km.

To kick off the 2026 Stride or Ride event we are hosting a launch party and inviting the community. Join us and come along for a get together on Friday 14th August 2026 from 3pm to 5pm. ITALICO is opening their venue for our Friday gathering.
