McLean Quinlan is a family of architects who, for over 40 years, have been creating distinct, beautifully crafted homes and retreats - in towns, in the countryside, in the UK and overseas.

Working from studios in London and Wi******er, the close-knit team of architects and designers work on a small number of residential, cultural and hospitality projects each year. Every project is carefully shaped with input from a trusted network of craftspeople and collaborators.

Their work has been recognised by the RIBA, the UK Passivhaus Trust, the Manser Medal and AYA’s Individual House Architect of the Year, and regularly features in House & Garden and Country Life’s Top 100 lists. Their projects have also appeared in publications by Taschen, Phaidon and RIBA.

Tom Ross is a leading Melbourne-based architectural photographer. He works across architecture and editorial. He studied at the Victorian College of the Arts and Massachusetts College of Art, and keeps a speculative practice on the side—making photos and books about the built world.

Albert is known for his residential projects that push boundaries and explore new modes of design centered around the sensory experience. In 2024, he launched his independent practice, AMoA, after 23 years of his previous firm. His design approach emphasises context, both site and human, and celebrates everyday rituals and objects, and the subtle beauty of everyday moments.
