This range celebrates the strength and resilience of our gender diverse mob, featuring a beautiful and unmistakable ENOKi illustration in bright purple screen print. 

About the artwork 
“In our own country, where us Blakfellas are the most marginalised, our voices are unheard and our rights are constantly questioned, ENOKi created this artwork to speak to the extra care everyone should put into the gender diverse Indigenous people of so-called “Australia”.

The ‘Protect Trans Mob’ piece is about more than just physically protecting gender diverse mob - it’s about protecting their identities against the western concept of transness, the policing of how they present themselves and how they identify. A lot of Indigenous q***r and trans history has been lost or destroyed due to colonisation so we have to protect what little remains.

At the center of the artwork is a shield with a triangle pattern. As triangles are the strongest shape found in nature, this represents the strength and resilience of our gender diverse mob. 

The second element is ENOKi’s figures, with the addition of butterfly-like wings to represent transformation and how the concept of gender can come in many forms and present in many different ways for Indigenous people.”
