Shout out to the many sponsors, partners and guests who supported the Commentators Club luncheon (CCL) - edition 26 in 2025. A fun day was had by all and success in our mission support another wonderful Melbourne-based grass roots charity Smacktalk

Four hundred guests joined yet another 'sold out' CCL and seemed to reaffirm our position as the most fun AFL Grand Final leadup event on the calendar.

Our talent lineup included AFLW and WNBL legend/Half of Famer, Erin Phillips; the most popular bloke in footy (pretty handy career on the field and in the media too) Matthew 'Richo' Richardson; Australia's preeminent multi-sport commentator and broadcaster Gerard Whateley. Add in laughs and music to the mix in the form of funny man Daniel Connell and music man Mike Allen (Things of Stone & Wood) and that's a lineup that delviered in spades!
