Race 2 completed and whilst Declan again got himself a really well.driven sixth place, Nathan had a spin on lap three dropping him out of fourth place and leaving himseld with work to do again.
Declan was embroiled in a four car battle for the entire race and made his move for sixth on the second last corner.
Nathan was meanwhile trying to make his way forward and set the fastest lap of the race on the second last lap. With the track conditions proving tricky with a sprinkle of rain turns 1 and 2 on the final lap Nathan had a car spin in front of him which saw him also loose the car and sustaining front and rear damage.
The car is back in the garage and being fixed ready for tomorrow. So with Daniel away this weekend, David has been allowed to break out some of his garage tunes making him happy.

2026 Australian Formula Vee Nationals final completed with the Sabre 02 drivers putting in a great effort filling five of the top ten positions. The race was interupted by a lengthy safetycar period which was a shame. Whilst never close enough to make a challenge for the lead on a track that has little in the way of passing opportunities, Aaron Pace topped of a really solid weekend picking up third place. Close behind, again with a really strong weekend, Curtis Porter grabbed fourth position.
On their first visit to One Raceway, Andre Curin drove a strong race to greet the chequred flag in fifth with fellow Victorian competitor Blake Purvis securing sixth.
Geoff Bennett had a good final getting himself a top ten finish by taking nineth place, making it five Sabre 02's inside the top ten.
Matthew Harriot finished just outside the top ten in twelfth place. Rod Lisson had a solid race taking sixteenth whilst Cam Bell, and Jason Fowler who where both running higher up in the order found each other at Turn 1 on the final lap, seeing Cam finishing twenty third and Jason with a DNF. Kathy Lisson was a DNS and took no part in the final event of the weekend.
Well done to the each of the podium getters, winner - Craig Sparke, second place getter - Michael Kinsella, and third placed - Aaron Pace.
For the Sabre 02 drivers, a great showing by each of you right through the field all weekend, congratulations to all of you.
