The Method team recently swapped laptops for football jerseys as we took part in the Recruitment World Cup 2026.

While there was only one winner on the pitch, the real impact of the day extended far beyond football.

A huge thank you to Pete Watson and Recruitment United for creating such an incredible initiative in support of Eat Up Australia, helping raise vital funds to support children facing food insecurity across Australia.

Eat Up Australia works with schools and community partners to provide free lunches to students who may otherwise go without, helping ensure children have access to a nutritious meal and can focus on learning, growing and being part of their school community. To date, they have delivered more than 6 million lunches across Australia.

We were proud to join the recruitment community in supporting such an important cause and enjoyed a great day of fundraising, connection and healthy competition.

A strong culture isn't built on the office floor alone. It's built through shared experiences, genuine connection and creating opportunities for people to spend time together beyond the day-to-day.

Last month, the Method team headed to the Gold Coast for our annual conference, bringing together colleagues from across the business for a few days of planning, collaboration and celebration.

Alongside business updates, strategy sessions and discussions about the year ahead, there was plenty of time to connect outside the office. From team dinners and group activities to exploring the coast and celebrating successes together, the conference was designed to strengthen the relationships that help us perform at our best.

As a people business, we know that great outcomes start with great teams. Taking the time to invest in our people, recognise achievements and create space for meaningful connection is an important part of who we are.

A fantastic few days spent learning, laughing and building momentum for the year ahead.

We’re delighted to welcome Craig McGrigor to the Method team.

Craig joins us as Principal Consultant, spearheading our GTM practice. With more than 10 years’ experience building high-performing GTM teams across APAC, Craig has partnered with some of the region’s leading SaaS, Data & AI, Cyber and consulting businesses.

A huge congratulations to Chloe Wright on hosting her very first EA Engage Networking Event 👏

Bringing together Executive Assistants to connect, share ideas and openly discuss the evolving scope of the EA role made for such a valuable evening. From productivity hacks to meaningful conversations and new connections, it was fantastic to see so many people in the room engaging and supporting one another.

It’s not often EAs get the chance to step away from planning mode and simply enjoy being in the room, which made the night even more special.

Sometimes, the difference between inclusion and exclusion comes down to how a process is designed.

In this case, a highly capable engineer applying for a hashtag role needed a few simple adjustments to fully participate in the interview process. Without them, there was a real risk her capability wouldn’t be seen.

By working closely with the hiring team, we introduced small but meaningful changes (from accessible interview formats to clearer communication) ensuring she could engage confidently at every stage.

She went on to perform exceptionally well, secure the role and quickly exceed expectations.

Six months in, she’s now an advocate for accessibility within the organisation, helping shape more inclusive practices for others.

This case study shows how thoughtful adjustments don’t just support individuals, they strengthen teams and drive broader cultural change.
