I can’t believe where we started and how far it has come.

Spent the greatest part of today at the ever inspiring talking all things Kustom with Sasha and Mick… Then got 3D scanning with our LEO on some seriously kool projects. One of which you may have seen at on the stand. Stay tuned as we make up some parts for these killer builds.

When Andy brought us his brief was like no other customer I have ever worked with. A complete build book, researched, quantified, purposeful and direct. Designed with engineering intent at every corner, this is how projects should arrive. A clear set of achievable goals that build the foundations for every step forward in the build. This single document might have additions along the road, but it is clear where we are headed. After laser leveling the jig table and checking dimensional values we can get to welding. Let’s get it.

Had the EVO in for a rear parcel shelf and firewall delete. After scanning it with the Leo we jumped into and made up the ally parts which were laser cut and folded then delivered to the shop for fitment. The parts pickup on factory mounting in the parcel shelf and have nutserts added to connect them to one another. We will show the scan to part process.

What a whirlwind was. Seeing the culmination of thousands of hours of hard work in its rolling form was truly overwhelming. I am grateful to have been part of this adventure from the beginning with the incredible craftsman at from steel mockup to Leo scan. chassis model and an Alias surface model. To Sheetmetal bucks and beyond this has been a true challenge of our every capacity. Sometimes the biggest rigs need the smallest pickle busted… needed a factory looking solution for a serious touring rig reverse camera. From 3d design in to 3D print on the H2C in 45mins problem solved…
