πΎ Hello, my name is Mercy! πΎ
I am a beautiful Bull Mastiff cross puppy looking for my forever family.
I currently live with my foster family, which includes a 2-year-old, a 6-year-old children and my foster parents. I absolutely love playing with my human siblings and being part of all the family fun! Sometimes I can get a little overexcited, but I am learning very quickly and improving every day.
I have already mastered some important skills. I can sit, wait, and play fetch, and I've even learned not to take toys straight from the toy box anymore. My foster family is very proud of how clever I am!
As a growing puppy, I have lots of energy and will need a home that can provide plenty of exercise, long walks, and mental stimulation to keep me happy and engaged. I enjoy spending time with my people and love being included in family activities, but I'm also happy to have some quiet time when I need a rest.
My favourite things are cuddles, kisses, playtime, and being close to the people I love. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate, and intelligent companion who is eager to learn and ready to become part of your family, I might just be the girl for you.
π Full of puppy energy, full of love, and ready to mingle β that's me, Mercy! πΎ

π READY FOR ADOPTION π
Name: Sammy
Age: 11 Weeks
Colour: Ginger
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Meet Sammy, a gorgeous little ginger boy with the loudest purr and the biggest personality! This happy little man loves belly rubs, will run to greet you at the door, and adores cuddling around your ankles. When he's not zooming around the house, you'll find him curled up for a nap with his foster family.
Sammy's journey hasn't been the easiest. He was found on the Monash Freeway with an injury to his front leg and was brought into care for veterinary treatment. Thanks to lots of love, care, and determination, Sammy has regained function in his leg and continues to improve every day. While he still has some slight weakness in that paw, he has been given the all-clear by the vet and requires no further treatment. Whether his paw continues to strengthen or remains slightly affected, time will only tell.
Sammy loves sleeping with Ninja, his foster cat brother, and enjoys snoozing on his foster mum's bed. He happily eats both wet and dry food and likes to graze throughout the day.
This sweet boy is AMAZING with young children. He is playful, gentle, affectionate, and loves being involved in family life. Sammy also gets along beautifully with other cats and brings endless joy and entertainment to any home lucky enough to have him.
π If you're looking for a kitten with a heart of gold, a loud purr, and a playful spirit, Sammy could be the perfect addition to your family.

Help needed please π
Do you:

πΎHave the time to socialise your fosters for at least three or more hours a day?
πΎ Love dogs and have love to give?
πΎ Want to make a difference?
πΎ All vet costs will be covered by us and weβll help where we can with food and litter. You just need to provide a safe space for them to land and be loved until adopted. Timeframes of fostering are unknown as it is about finding the right home for each of our FurKids.

π€―π REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD! π
We can hardly believe it...
πΎ Zeus is going to be adopted by the very same family who adopted his brother, Poseidon, at Saturday's Adoption Day! πΎ
When Poseidon found his forever home over the weekend, we were absolutely thrilled for him. But now, thanks to the kindness and generosity of his new family, Zeus will be joining him too!
We are beyond overjoyed that these two brothers will be reunited and will get to spend the rest of their lives together. β€οΈ
As rescuers, we know that not every bonded pair or sibling relationship can stay together, which makes moments like this incredibly special. Knowing that Zeus and Poseidon will grow up side by side, sharing the same home, family, adventures, and love is more than we could have hoped for.
Thank you to this amazing family for opening your hearts not just to one rescue kitten, but to both brothers. The greatest gift you could give them is the chance to remain together forever.
Congratulations, Zeus and Poseidon! Your happily ever after starts now. π‘ππΎ
Sometimes dreams really do come true. β¨

ππΎ THAT'S A WRAP!!! πΎπ
π Adoption Day #2 Update π
What an incredible weekend it has been!
Firstly, thank you to everyone who came along today and supported FurKids Rescue. Whether you adopted, donated, shared our posts, or simply stopped by to meet our animals, your support means the world to us.
A special thank you goes to the families who chose to adopt this weekend. We truly appreciate the care and consideration you took in choosing a new family member and ensuring the match was right for both you and the animal.
Today we celebrated the adoption of:
π± Mumma bears Violet and Smudge
π± Older kitten Kevin
π± Bones, who was adopted and placed on hold after his brother Spook was adopted and placed on hold yesterday.
π±We also had another pair of older kittens secure their forever home after hours, as their family took left the store and took the time to carefully consider whether one or two furry family members would be the best fit.
That brings our final adoption tally from the Pet O Pakenham Adoption Weekend to an incredible:
π 17 felines adopted
π 1 puppy adopted
We are absolutely overjoyed with these results. Moments like these allow us to step back and reflect on the lives changed, the partnerships built, and the achievements made possible through the dedication of our volunteers, foster carers, supporters, adopters, and rescue partners.
A huge thank you to Pet O Pakenham for hosting us. We have been honoured to be part of your 20th Birthday celebrations and are grateful for your ongoing support of rescue animals.
π
Save the date!
FurKids Rescue will be returning to Pet O Pakenham for another double Adoption
Weekend on:
πΎ Saturday 27th June, 10:00- 3:00pm
πΎ Sunday 28th June, 10:00- 1:30pm
Until then, please keep an eye on our social media pages and website. Many wonderful cats, kittens and puppies are still searching for their forever homes, and we welcome enquiries, applications, and private meet-and-greets.
Thank you for helping us change lives, one adoption at a time. ππ‘πΎ

π IT'S ALL BEEN HAPPENING TODAY!!!! π
ππ‘ OLIVER ADOPTED π‘π
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Oliver has found his forever home! β€οΈ
Sometimes everything just falls into place, and that is exactly what happened when Oliver met his new family. The match was so right that there was no doubt he had found where he truly belonged.
Oliver is now leaving rescue life behind and beginning an exciting new chapter, knowing he has a stable, secure, and loving future ahead of him. Most importantly, he has found a family who understands him, accepts him for who he is, and will love him forevermore.
As rescuers, these are the moments that make all the hard work worthwhile. Watching an animal leave our care and head off to a home where they will be cherished for the rest of their life is what we dream of for every FurKid.
Congratulations, Oliver! π₯°
Thank you to his foster carer for helping him on his journey, and thank you to his new family for opening your hearts and home to this wonderful boy.
Enjoy every moment of your happily ever after, Oliver. We can't wait to see all the adventures that await you. πΎπ‘π

Todayβs Adoption Day line up-
Sunday 14th June
10:00- 1:30pm
ππ Every one of these babies is deserving.
Life hasn't come easy for them. Their stories are heartbreaking, and in every case, they have been let down by humans.
Some have been abandoned. Some have been born on the streets. Others have simply been forgotten when they needed people the most.
At FurKids Rescue, we have started changing their stories. We have given them safety, warmth, full bellies, veterinary care, and the chance to trust again. We have begun writing new chapters filled with hope, love, and second chances.
Now we need you to help continue their journey.
Whether you choose to adopt, foster, donate, volunteer, or simply share their stories, you become part of the reason their future looks brighter than their past.
Please help us continue making a positive difference in their lives. Together, we can ensure that the next chapter is the happiest one yet. π₯°πΎ
π Because every life matters.
π Because every animal deserves love.
π Because together, we can make a difference.
