Thats a wrap on ‘Teach Me How To Cry’!
What an unbelievable experience. We somehow managed to shoot a 5 day film in just 3 days. It was our first time shooting on vintage glass, being the Canon FD lenses and they are a different beast. Creating a beautiful look with such unique flaring.
We loved being apart of the production and surrounded by such a talented team. We can’t wait to work with you all again very soon.

Before the short films we were busy shooting two truck feature videos for .
A lot of kit goes into a shoot like this. Due to the reflective surfaces on the trucks, we had to create big soft light sources using a mix of powerful lights and large diffusion material.
Shooting the whole thing on 3x REDs with Canon CN-E cinema primes is the cherry on top. Giving a sharp professional look.

What an experience. Living with the entire crew for 5 days. Shooting late nights and early morning. All worth it to see Bens vision come alive.

We had an early start this morning to catch the sunrise but it was well worth it.

All interior filming today. Lots of blacking out windows and mimicking moonlight.

Another long day on set. Shooting everything inside apart from a few establishing shots in town.

What a huge day, the biggest of the next 5. From 12x12 diffusion during the day to recreating moon like light in the dark, we had a bit of everything.

Blasting lights through second story windows and more negative fill than you can poke a stick at. Also providing plenty of on set gags.
