After losing the person he loved most just a month ago, 13-year-old Snoop has found himself searching for a family once again. Adopted from rescue five years ago, this sweet little Pomeranian thought he'd already found his forever home. Now, he's hoping someone will open their heart and give him the comfort, security, and love he deserves for his golden years.

Snoop may be a senior, but he certainly hasn't lost his spark. Full of personality, he still gets excited over his favourite toys—especially balls—and happily spends his time carrying them around or inviting you to play. Like many Pomeranians, he enjoys having his say with a bark or two, but he's also a well-mannered little gentleman who responds well to gentle guidance. Affectionate, loyal, and happiest close to his people, Snoop loves nothing more than sharing life's quiet moments, whether that's pottering around the garden, snoozing beside you, or curling up on the bed if you'll let him.

Snoop is an obedient boy who has settled beautifully into home life. He gets along well with other dogs and has also lived comfortably around cats and rabbits. Because he can feel a little unsure around young children—particularly when his treasured toys are involved—he's looking for an adult-only home, or one with older, respectful children. A calm home where he can enjoy short strolls, backyard adventures, cosy naps, and plenty of love would be perfect.

Yesterday, we put out another desperate call for help.

14 dogs were sitting on a rural pound kill list, waiting for someone to say "yes."

And you did.

To every single person who applied to foster, shared our post, tagged friends, or reached out to help—thank you. Because of you, all 14 dogs were able to leave the pound and enter the safety of our care.

Below are some of the beautiful faces who are alive because ordinary people chose to make an extraordinary difference.

They are not yet available for adoption. Right now, they'll spend the next few days doing something every dog deserves—being safe, being loved, receiving veterinary care, and finally learning what kindness feels like.

But our work doesn't stop here.

Between now and Saturday, we are expecting another 30+ dogs to enter our care. We can only say "yes" if we have foster homes ready to welcome them.

Fostering is completely free. We provide all food, supplies, bedding, veterinary care, and ongoing support. All you need is a safe place for a dog to stay and the ability to pick up from Narre Warren.
