You are all I want.
But I don't want you to become the sun I orbit, because I spent too many years forgetting that I was born with my own fire.
I don't want you to save me.
I want to save myself.
I want to stitch every fractured piece back together with my own trembling hands. I want to stand in the ruins of who I was and build a woman so breathtakingly whole that even my ghosts no longer recognise her.
I want to be so full of light that you mistake me for a starry night sky - something endless, something sacred, something you can spend a lifetime looking at and never fully understand.
And when you find me there, glowing in the dark, I want to have you in all the ways that matter.
In quiet Sunday mornings and reckless midnight drives.
In stolen glances across crowded rooms.
In the secrets you only tell when the world is asleep.
In the scars you hide beneath your skin and the dreams you bury beneath your ribs.
I want to know every dangerous corner of you and still choose to stay.
And then, when we've both learned how to belong to ourselves, the two of us can belong to each other.
Not as a rescue.
Not as a refuge.
But as two wild things standing side by side beneath the same stars, looking at the darkness and daring it to come closer.

I finally stopped asking why I wasn't enough. Stopped turning myself inside out trying to find the flaw that made them leave, the missing piece that made them stay distant, the reason they couldn't love me back the way I loved them.
For so long, I treated every goodbye like evidence. Every rejection like a verdict. Every unanswered effort like proof that there was something about me that needed fixing. But the truth arrived quietly. Not everyone who meets your heart will know what to do with it. Some people will be given the kind of love they once prayed for and still be unable to receive it. Some will hold your tenderness in their hands and mistake it for something ordinary. Some will only be capable of loving you from the limits of their own wounds, fears, and understanding. And none of that is a measure of your worth.
The day I stopped asking why they didn't choose me was the day I started choosing myself. I stopped chasing explanations that would never heal me. Stopped carrying the weight of other people's inability to love as if it were my burden to bear. Because love is not proven by how hard you fight to be seen. Love is not earned through sacrifice, exhaustion, or shrinking yourself into someone easier to keep. Real love arrives without requiring you to abandon yourself. So now, when someone cannot meet me where I stand, I no longer ask what is wrong with me. I ask what is right about me that I finally know I deserve more. And that answer changes everything.

There is something undeniably beautiful about a woman who has lived. She's not untouched or unscarred by life, but softened in all the right places and sharpened in the ways that matter. She's a woman who no longer performs youth, because she has discovered something far more intoxicating. Herself. Hair tangled by the wind kind of beautiful. Hands full, heart full kind of beautiful. Home cooked food, deep laughter, and red wine stained lips kind of beautiful. Eye crinkles earned honestly. Smile lines carved by truly living kind of beautiful. The years don’t dim me, they deepen me kind of beautiful. Exhausted but still swaying to the music in the kitchen kind of beautiful. Bruised by life but still singing anyway kind of beautiful. I know what I deserve. I am exactly the woman I think I am kind of beautiful. The kind of beautiful that can only come from a life fully felt and fully lived.

Darling, look at you. Still loving softly in a world that threw everything at you to harden you. Still carrying tenderness in the same hands that had to pull yourself back together. You survived the kind of love that teaches you to question your own worth. The kind that took and took until you barely recognised yourself in the mirror anymore. The kind that made you mistake survival for devotion. And still… here you are. Heart beating. Hope breathing quietly beneath your ribs. That is your magic. Not that you loved the wrong people. Not that you stayed too long. But that bitterness did not get the final say. Because now you know. You know the difference between being chosen and being consumed. You know how manipulation sounds when it’s dressed up as affection. You know how to recognise almost-love before it reaches your skin. The next time someone tries to charm their way into your softness without deserving it, they will find a woman who has learned the sacred art of leaving. And maybe the most beautiful thing about you now is that even after everything, you will still choose love. A more careful love. A wiser love. But with more self-awareness, knowing that love was never supposed to cost you your peace.

Forgiveness isn’t about pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s about choosing to stop carrying it 🌙✨
Every version of you was doing the best she could with what she knew at the time. Even the quiet one. Even the broken one. Even the one who stayed too long.

Let this be the moment you soften toward yourself.
You were learning. You were surviving. You were still becoming 🤍

If this spoke to you, take a breath… and whisper:
“I forgive myself.” 🕊️

Grief didn’t just take - it taught. Every ache, every silence, every unfinished word carried a lesson I didn’t know I needed. Love, loss, and everything in between is sacred 🤍🪽✨️
