Emerging from the creative synergy of Vangelis (formerly of LAGASTA) and electronic artist Tareq, ‘Boys’ Shorts’ have carved out a singular space where house, slow techno, disco, and acid collide. With a mission statement as direct as it is effective “We make people dance!” the duo has become a global force in the underground scene. Their discography reads like a who’s who of elite labels, with releases on Permanent Vacation, Cormac’s Polari, Iptamenos Discos Future Disco, HE.SHE.THEY, Live at Robert Johnson & more. They’ve dominated the charts with their track “New Era” and their latest EP “Something To Forget,” both hitting No. 1 on Beatport and Juno Download, while earning heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1. Beyond their own productions, they’ve delivered high-profile remixes for the likes of Alison Goldfrapp, Poolside, Yuksek w/ Polo & Pan, Kasper Bjorke, Woolfy, Local Su***de, Casey Spooner (Fischerspooner) & Boy George.

They also supported Goldfrapp on her recent ‘Love Invention’ UK tour. From the hallowed floors of Berghain/Panorama Bar and London’s E1 to New York icons like Le Bain and House of YES, their sets traverse the globe with infectious energy. With over twenty years under his belt, Chinosynth’s journey as a producer, musician, and curator has seen him navigate dance floors with precision.

Whether through his solo work or his collaborations with the likes of Technicism, Maho, Diskontrol, and Josefo, his signature sound carries a deep sense of intention and rhythmic consistency.
A true veteran of the craft, his productions have found homes on esteemed labels including Roam, SUW, Controlla, Logical, Golden Soul, Hear, and Dust & Blood. From managing labels to curating the next wave of electronic music, Jorge continues to be a pivotal figure in the global underground and we are ecstatic to have him part of the edit series!
