Danish modern oak daybed with minimalist design, produced in 1970’s Denmark. 

This elegant and practical mid-century piece converts from a sofa to a single bed. The backrest contains a concealed storage compartment for linen. Solid oak base and cigar legs.

The magnificent 1973 Smalley House located in Los Angeles and designed by architect A. Quincy Jones. The Holmby Hills home was one of Jones’ largest single-family residences, with five bedrooms and more than 7,500 square feet. It is widely considered as one of Southern Californias mid-century greats.
