The mix series was launched on June 15th 2021, with the view of sharing music by friends for friends. 2 years later and we’re still doing just that. Thank you to all who have been part of it :’)

An incredible digger and DJ, Magico joins us following his European tour for an exclusive Melbourne performance. Though his career sees him frequent clubs throughout both hemispheres, Magico remains firmly rooted in the Korean party scene. A resident at Ring, and previously club Mystik, Magico has also curated his own series Voice, inviting likeminded local and international artists to deepen the Seoul underground scene. Magico draws from a range of genres and eras to effortlessly execute a style rooted in detailed, groove-driven dance music.

Cat is based in Canberra on Ngunnawal/Ngambri land where she has steadily become recognised for fun and upbeat sets that move between trance, bass music and breaks. Some of my best ever memories on the df have been spent grooving with Cat when we were bbys just getting into dance music :') Now it has been such a joy to watch her become such a talented DJ in her own right. Moving seamlessly between genres and rhythms, Sanguines Maybe mix is a wonderful encapsulation of his fresh style. When I asked Sam to do a mix I was excited to see what path he would go down. Now I am even more excited to share this mix that so perfectly encapsulates the breadth of his deep musical world. Billus is an incredibly talented DJ and producer who has contributed so much to Naarm's scene. The mix he has put together is an effortlessly building and expertly put together journey.
