Exciting news! Our WA Para State Team are incredibly grateful to have had Peter Dawson's leadership and we look forward to continuing our journey with David Williams ahead of this year's National Para Football Championships.

Football Futures Foundation is proud to welcome David Williams — Perth Glory FC forward and former CommBank Socceroos — as Head Coach of the WA Para Football State Team, with the support of Football West.

David’s leadership will help elevate the program and provide WA players with disability the opportunity to develop, compete, and shine on the national stage.

A huge thank you to Peter Dawson for his incredible contribution and commitment in growing the Para Football program to where it is today.

WA Para Football Program

Football Futures Foundation is hosting a big Inclusive Football Festival on Saturday 1 November at Gibbney Reserve from 10am-3pm!

As part of this festival, there will be a Junior 5v5 Tournament for 9-12 year olds. You can enter a team (or teams) in one (or more) of three divisions:

⚽️ Kids with disability
⚽️ Kids from multicultural communities
⚽️ Kids from First Nations communities

A team must consist of a minimum of 5 players.

Registration fee is $100 per team - which is donated to support the Foundation's inclusive programs, however if this creates a barrier to participating, please email Saskia at [email protected] for payment options/availability to have the fees waived.

Congratulations to six of our lads on getting selected to the first CommBank Pararoos training camp of the year.

The CommBank Pararoos are preparing for their first training camp of 2025 as they begin their journey toward the IFCPF Asian-Oceania Cup, set to take place later this year in Indonesia.

The WA Para Football Program would like to introduce you to Peter Dawson who has been appointed as the Head Coach of the WA Para State Team

After serving as Assistant Coach in 2024, Peter has been an invaluable part of WA Para Football, making a huge impact in both the state team and our youth and social programs.

The teams first practice match came up at our seasons launch on February 8 at Sam Kerr Football Centre where the WA Paras took on WAID Football Program (Western Australia Intellectual Disability) in Peter’s first hit out as head coach winning the match 4-1.

We wish Peter and the team all the best of luck.

Are you passionate about football and making a difference in the lives of athletes with cerebral palsy or acquired brain injuries? Our CP State Football Team is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Coach to lead our talented players to success on and off the field.

What we’re looking for:

✅ Strong football coaching experience
✅ An understanding of CP football or a willingness to learn
✅ Great leadership, communication, and motivational skills
✅ A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment
