April 30 2023 marked the 5 year mark since launching Helm Insurance Services and my sincere thanks to all customers and providers who have supported the business. Very pleased to announce that in early May 2023 we welcomed Matt Young to the crew, Matt has entensive Marine and Non Marine Insurance experience from previous underwriting and claims experience with a major insurer as well as being an active boater.

Just to let all know the Helm Insurance Website is currently on the slip having some maintenance undertaken once we are floating again we will let you know.

What an outstanding team. A huge thanks to all involved specially Australian Marine Enterprises who under took the repairs.

What a result considering whether events and the current shortage of various supplies due to COVID.

This is a great end result is a combination of broker having the contacts, selecting the right repairer, an assessor who understood the claim and reported the facts along with an insurer who didn’t muck around and just got in there and authorised the repairs.

Helm Insurance Services was launched in April 2018 and I am proud to announce that last week I welcomed my first Helm Insurance employee onboard.
Shelly Aisthorpe has joined the crew as an Assistant Broker. Shelly brings with her 13+ years underwriting and claims experience as well as a wealth of knowledge from the insurance & marine industry.
I have had the pleasure to work with Shelly in the past and look forward to working with her again.
