The spiral pattern in the yellow center of the Aster flower is an example of Fibonacci phyllotaxis governed by the Golden Ratio: φ ≈ 1.618.
It's also called Sacred Geometry.
If you count the spirals you will find they are Fibonacci numbers (e.g., 21 and 34, or 34 and 55).
We didn't count them today - we're a little busy!! 🌿🌸🌿

They named this rose: Pink Floyd!!
Created in the Netherlands and bred by Petras Nicolaas Johannes Schreurs, it is now grown in Equador where the volcanic soil of the Andes Mountains and the altitude of 2,700 metres together with the intense sunlight and cool nights gives the flower it's massive sturdy bloom and it's vibrant neon pink coloring.
You could grow it in Australia however the result will be a smaller bloom with a less intensive colour.

Thryptomene is endemic to Australia and is also known as Heath Myrtle.
