It’s been a few days but great finish to in the class. It’s been a great summer working with the Futures squad over the last few months, and over the last few weeks work alongside Carrie, Victor and Mal and the program.

Wrapped up the 470 and 420 Nationals at Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club yesterday, and I couldn't be more proud of our Australian Sailing - SA Squad!

You know its been a good one when you have to list it out...

A huge well done to:

Australian Open 420 Champions Ben Hinks and Carter Baker

420 Womens Champions Ellen Sampson and Fallon Katz

470 National Junior Champions Alex Higgins and Joal Mackenzie (who were also 2nd Overall)

420 National Junior Champions Austin Higgins and Charlie Piro (and super sub Lily Witty)

Their success is, in a large part, thanks to their training partners who all sailed so well over the course of the event.

Its so great to see the hard work these sailors put in over the last few months come together yesterday, and I'm so excited to see what this year brings for this awesome group!

It’s been a long haul of training in SA, but now a few days off for recreation and Christmas.

Great so work with the Futures squad in the class and then spend a few weeks either side with the group of 470s and 420s in preparation for the Australian Championship in the New Year.
