Spring has sprung! Heading into salad season in our house and ahhhmahgosh I'm looking forward to them 🙌 Tonight was marinated chicken, grilled haloumi, avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion & mixed lettuce with a dash of balsamic 👌

There's really nothing glamorous about everyday home cooking. Often the post-work dash or in our case, the bathing, cleaning up & slapping something together routine (often with a screaming child or two).

Today like many others I went for the meat and 3 veg combo. Except i'm one of those crazy veggie lovers so more like 5 or 6 ;)

Although, who says it has to be boring?? A couple of extras and an "easy" dinner can be jazzed up with very little effort.

Pan fried chicken breast, creamy chive sauce, crispy hickory bacon with sweet potato mash & fresh steamed veg = Tuesday meat & 5 veg ✔️

So simple but always soooo good - the humble toastie. My favourite is bolognese and cheese with a sprinkle of salt...those crispy cheese bits on the side omg 😍 what's your favourite flavour combo?

Crispy chicken burger with wood-smoked bacon, creamy coleslaw, fresh guacamole, grated cheddar, sliced tomato & topped with tomato relish...the directions to my husband's heart 😉😂
