This Wednesday, the team at Parker Law QLD proudly supported Laffo's Pizza for a Purpose, a fantastic community initiative helping to fund the Grapevine Group's life-saving su***de prevention training throughout the Mackay and Whitsunday regions.

By simply sharing a pizza together, we're helping support an organisation that works tirelessly to improve mental health awareness, provide su***de prevention education, and strengthen our local community.

IMPORTANT UPDATE | New Australian AML Laws Commencing 1 July 2026

From 1 July 2026, all Australian law firms, including Parker Law QLD, must comply with new Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) legislation.

What does this mean for you?

You may be asked to:

RBA Holds Cash Rate at 4.35%

This achievement represents years of dedication, hard work and commitment to the legal profession. To be admitted as a lawyer, Claire has successfully completed her Bachelor of Laws, Practical Legal Training, character and suitability assessments, and has now been formally admitted to practice law in Queensland.
Since joining Parker Law QLD, Claire has demonstrated a genuine passion for helping clients, a commitment to continuous learning, and a strong desire to build her legal career in Mackay and North Queensland.

Originally from Beijing and having lived in Australia for more than five years, Claire made the decision to relocate to Mackay to begin her legal career and has embraced becoming part of our local community.
