Using Meta Glasses, we captured a behind-the-scenes look at the tuning process — from building the calibration in WinOLS right through to testing and validating everything on our AWD dyno.

Big Mack Truck in for ECM Programming
This tough Mack Titan rolled into Diesel Smart with multiple exhaust system fault codes causing ongoing issues and reduced performance.
Our team carried out ECM programming and diagnostics to address the exhaust-related faults, ensuring the truck is operating correctly and reliably. With heavy transport equipment, getting to the root cause quickly is critical to minimise downtime and keep trucks earning money on the road.

Another clean 79 Series build wrapped up here at Diesel Smart 🔥
This LandCruiser came through the workshop for a full setup focused on reliability, airflow, cooling and drivability both on and off-road.
The build included:

With the upgraded intake setup and exhaust system, this 79 is now breathing far better and responding much cleaner right through the rev range. Combined with the custom ECU tuning and multi-map setup, the customer can switch between different driving modes depending on how the vehicle is being used — whether it’s towing, touring, daily driving or wanting maximum performance when needed 👌
The fan kit upgrade also helps keep temperatures under control in harsh Australian conditions, especially when towing or working these vehicles hard.
Everything was supplied, fitted and tuned in-house by the Diesel Smart team. We test what we sell and back it with real support, not overseas ticket systems.

Out on-site getting another machine sorted 💪
This John Deere was suffering from ongoing DPF faults after exhaust modifications had already been carried out. The machine was throwing fault codes and not operating the way it should.
We travelled out on-site and carried out custom ECU tuning to suit the modifications and get the machine running properly again. ✅

Massey Ferguson 5712SL — AdBlue / SCR Faults Fixed Through ECU Tuning ✅
This Massey Ferguson 5712SL came into the workshop with ongoing AdBlue / SCR faults causing major issues for the owner.
After custom ECU tuning and calibration work, the faults were resolved and the tractor is now back working the way it should.

Fresh off the dyno here at Diesel Smart — this brand new 2026 Toyota Hilux came in for a full custom ECU dyno tune on our AWD Dynocom dyno.
Factory power is one thing… but with a proper custom calibration the difference in drivability, towing performance and throttle response is massive.
Results achieved:
• Stock: 184.9HP / 485Nm
• Tuned: 213.4HP / 569Nm
That’s a gain of nearly 85Nm at the wheels while keeping the power delivery smooth and usable right through the rev range.
Every tune we do is custom developed in-house on the dyno — no generic files. We test, log and refine each vehicle to suit how it’s actually driven.

This tidy setup came in for a custom dyno tune on our AWD Dynocom dyno, chasing more usable power and torque for everyday work duties, towing and better drivability on the road.

Another tough Isuzu D-Max in the workshop at Diesel Smart 💪
This 4JJ3 DMAX rolled into the dyno cell for a custom dyno tune, chasing better drivability, stronger towing performance and more usable power right through the rev range. These new Isuzu platforms respond unreal to correct ECU calibration, especially when tuned safely on the dyno.
Using our in-house AWD dyno setup, we custom tuned the vehicle to suit the customer’s setup and driving style — delivering smoother power delivery, improved throttle response and stronger torque where it actually matters.
