🚁 The BMA CQ Rescue crew were tasked to a bulk carrier anchored at Hay Point last night after a male onboard began experiencing chest pains.

Following a successful night-time winch operation, the patient was then transported to Mackay for further medical treatment.

Day or night, in all conditions, BMA CQ Rescue crews are ready to respond to emergencies across Central and North Queensland. Behind every mission is a team of highly skilled professionals who train relentlessly, work tirelessly, and put themselves on the front line to help others when they need it most.

Today, we thank our pilots, aircrew, engineers, medical professionals, operational staff, volunteers, and all first responders who dedicate themselves to keeping our communities safe.

HeliCore Collective brings together our valued sponsors and supporters for an evening of networking, connection, and exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the service they help make possible.

Guests heard from CEO Tim Healee and Board Member Bill Cooper, before enjoying a live winching demonstration narrated by our Safety Manager Danny Ullmer, with raffle winner Cheryl Green stepping into the role of patient for a first-hand look at our rescue capabilities.

As the sun set across Central Queensland this evening, the BMA CQ Rescue crew was tasked to a bulk carrier offshore to retrieve a patient suffering compound fractures to both his upper and lower leg.

The patient was provided urgent medical care onboard before being safely transported to Mackay for further treatment.

No matter the hour or location, the BMA CQ Rescue crews are ready to respond when every minute counts 🚁

These two guitars signed by Birds of Tokyo , Jimmy Barnes and Jon Stevens at this year's Legends on the Lawn will soon take centre stage at our upcoming Gala auction.

BMA CQ Rescue was tasked to Laguna Quays airstrip late yesterday afternoon after a skydiver experienced a malfunction during descent and sustained injuries to his leg.

The patient received urgent aeromedical care before being transferred for further treatment to Mackay 🚁
